Here’s a good one that I concocted after some inspiration from my wife. In a large skillet, when first starting the sausage, sprinkle liberally with Italian seasoning mix, add the onions and bell pepper, then brown the sausage making sure it’s all crumbled. When the sausage is done, crush the ramen noodles with the heel of your hand before opening the package, then add the crushed noodles to the sausage, saving the little spice packet for later Add the water, tomato, garlic and the contents of the spice packets. Add a second liberal coating of Italian seasonings and then stir it all together, making sure the powdered seasonings are well mixed in Bring this to a boil while stirring frequently. Coat again with Italian Seasoning, stir, then reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 20 minutes. Stirring occasionally. I find that its best after much longer simmering time of 45 minutes to an hour. This makes enough to serve for supper and have enough left over to get another meal out of it. For best reheating, put it in a skillet over medium heat and add a cup of water. Stir frequently to prevent sticking. (add another cup of water if needed). edited to add: for more like this check out Tinfoil Chef
