Shades of James Bond or Batman! Seriously though, a guy is actually
working on a real flying car. While it sounds like something out of the
1938 worlds fair or the adventures of George Jetson, this is being
seriously developed.

Of course, to be fair, the development is more along the lines of using
it as an emergency vehicle than the newest version of family sedan. It’s
expected that the finished product will be able to do vertical takeoff,
achieve speeds of 155 mph and be able to have flights up to two hours
long.

All I can think of is Will Smith in Independance Day as he’s flying the
UFO to meet themother ship in orbit… "I have got to get me
one of these!"
