On the surface of it, this all seems innocent enough. I don’t know just
At the least, this is a plain waste of time. At the worst it’s something

appearance by ‘Staten Island Chuck’ and his handler who announced that
Chuck also failed to see a shadow. Chuck’s handler also said that he has
been right 22 out of the last 26 years.

offhand how the whole tradition of a groundhog seeing a shadow on
February 2nd being an indicator of how soon spring will arrive, but I do
know it’s not just an innocent, fun little game we all play every year.

He doesn’t want us doing. If we really want to know if spring is going
to be sooner or later there are two things that we can do… Use the
weather forecasting science that we have in abundance these days, or
(GASP!) we could always actually ask God. After all, He *IS* the
one who sets everything in place in the first place.
