Google Maps Revising History?

As if there weren’t enough reasons for people to question or outright
distrust Google, This little gem is yet anohter reason to wonder exactly
what they’re thinking.

Given what Google Maps is supposed to be, I can’t imagine any reason to
use anything but the very latest possible images of any area.

Criticizes Google Maps

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Google’s replacement of post-Hurricane Katrina
satellite imagery on its map portal with images of the region before
the storm does a "great injustice" to the storm’s victims, a
congressional subcommittee said.

I wonder whateve happened to Google’s motto of "Do no Evil"?
