Well, I guess it had to happen, embryonic stem cell research funding is
once again being attempted. The democrat controlled senate voted to ease
restrictions on the controversial research that involves killing human
embryos to harvest stem cells.

I can’t help but wonder how many people will find out about it though,
with all the idiotic flap going on in the media as people fuss, fume,
spit, snort and turn purple over Imus or Anna Nicole or some other media
hyped BS that people may love to talk about, but in the final analysis
doesn’t really mean much when compared to how cheap life itself is
becoming.

A stubborn Senate voted Wednesday to ease restrictions on federally
funded embryonic stem cell research, ignoring President Bush’s threat
of a second veto on legislation designed to lead to new medical
treatments.

Oh, by the way. You don’t suppose that the media is at all biased in
what little reporting they’re doing about this do you? Notice that they
made a point of mentioning that the legislation is designed to lead to
new medical treatments. That couldn’t possibly have any kind of
influence on people’s opinions could it? Especially since they get that
little shot in on the first paragraph, taking advantage of the fact that
many people never read a whole story, forming opinions based on
headlines and lead-in paragraphs.

Nah.. that couldn’t ever happen could it?
