Welcome back!
When I was a kid, that question used to mean "do you have color or black and white?" or perhaps it would be floor model vs a smaller tabletop set. Now it asks so much more. Is it a lcd tv or a plasma screen? is it high def? and the biggest question these days asks if it's capable of recieving digital tv. It's an important question anymore because if I remember right sometime in May of '09 the analog tv signals are going to be turned off and digital will be the only way to go.
What I don't get is why analog tv's are still being made let alone sold. The things are obsolete in the store. I guess for a few years at least there's going to be a booming buisness in set-top boxes to recieve and convert the digital signal for the shrinking number of analog sets.
