Of course it isnt. It’s also not new information. This little tidbit has been floating around in one form or another since shortly after 9/11. And while were at it, why not remember that the FBI and several dozen other agencies flubbed it big time as well. Largely out of inter-agency feuding and rivalry. They were (and probably still are dispite attempts to change things) all very reluctant to share information with other agencies. Working together is NOT something that any of ‘em have ever been known for.

REPORT CITES MAJOR CIA LAPSES BEFORE 9/11

The CIA’s own watchdog says the agency did not effectively tackle al Qaeda before
Sept. 11, 2001. The agency was slammed for never developing a plan to stop the
terrorist group and missing crucial opportunities to thwart the 9/11 hijackers.
