Why does it seem like every time you turn around there’s another recall of one kind or another… Very often involving food products of various kinds or Children’s toys? At least this time there isn’t any connection to China… Or so we can believe for now. This recall involves some 500 tons of Ground Beef being recalled because of possible contamination with our old buddy e-coli.
You remember that one I’m sure. At least two or three times now e-coli has been the reason for recall of fresh spinach and other products and while I can’t say for certain, I seem to recall a few other e-coli related recalls in just the last year.
All these recalls does say one thing… that there is a problem in the production and processing of foods. E-Coli should be a very rare thing, yet lately we’ve seen quite a bit of it.
