In another move to squash people’s freedom of speech and specifically to
keep their citizens in line, the Chinese government has blocked the
livejorunal.com domain. This cuts off access to nearly two million blogs
from within mainland china.

I guess it’s a good thing that it’s still possible for people in China
to use anonymizing proxies like TOR and freenet
