‘Jesus of Suburbia’ Yet Another Bogus Jesus Wannabe
If you’ve been paying any attention to the news lately you’ve no doubt
heard of this latest savior
wannabe, Jose de Jesus. This one is claiming to be the second coming
of Jesus. He’s got more followers than you can shake a stick at and it’s
no surprise, he’s declared that there is no sin, of course people are
going to buy into his thing. That way they don’t have to acknowledge
that they’re guilty of sin and need forgiveness.
The problem with this is that this guy is not the second coming of the
risen savior, he’s a liar claiming to be Christ. The REAL Jesus warned
about people like him:
Matthew 24:4-5, "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that
no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ;
and shall deceive many."
This guy is just another one of a long line of would be deceivers that
the true followers of Jesus ought to have no trouble spotting for what
he is, a fake.
He says that the same spirit that was in Jesus of Nazareth is in him,
having integrated with him in 1973 when two angels came to him in a
vision. I don’t doubt that he had an encounter with angels, Fallen
angels that is. 2 Corinthians 11:14 makes it clear that satan and his
servants can appear as angels of light and is this really a surprise?
After all, he is the father of lies (John 8:44), why shouldn’t he and
his servants lie to us and try to trick us into thinking they’re
something sent from God? How can we expect anything else from them? This
man isn’t any different from somebody who promises to help you talk
to your dead relatives He is just as much a tool for deception and
destruction as they are and he will, like them, be rewarded according to
his works when he stands before God.
I strongly suggest that if you want to get to know the real Jesus, that
you first realize that despite what this latest false christ is
teaching, that there is such a thing as sin, and that every single one
of us has sinned. Next you need to accept that sin is expensive and
somebody has to pay the
price of sin.
The price of sin is very high, the penalty is death. However if you pay
the price for your sins, it does you no good because you’d have to die
for every sin, which means you’d only pay for one sin. The only cure is
for somebody who has never sinned to die once for all sins. Jesus of
Nazareth is the one who can do that. He did it because
he loves us and cares for us. If we accept his gift of forgiveness
our sins are washed away.
Jose De Jesus teaches that after Jesus of Nazareth died and was
resurrected, one can literally do no wrong in God’s eyes. This is dead
wrong. Otherwise the Bible would not warn us against turning away from
this gift of salvation (2 Peter 2:20-22). Sin is real and is something
that people will be dealing with until satan and all of the angels and
people who followed him are finally cast into the lake of fire.
