Here comes the latest move by Google to archive, track and monitor
everything. This kind of tracking needs to be brought to the attention
of the millions of "Joe User" types out there that never think at all
about their privacy and how it’s so easy to compromise these days.

At the very least, people need to learn how to use some very effective
(and FREE) means to keep as much of their activity private as possible.
Like for example using the free
Torpark
setup that includes Firefox browser preconfigured for
maximum browsing privacy and anonymity. This installation is also
designed to be portable, you can install it on a USB flash drive and
take it anywhere.

Google
plans to profile players

INTERNET giant Google has drawn up plans to compile psychological
profiles of millions of web users by covertly monitoring the way they
play online games.

The company thinks it can glean information about an individual’s
preferences and personality type by tracking their online behaviour,
which could then be sold to advertisers. Details such as whether a
person is more likely to be aggressive, hostile or dishonest could be
obtained and stored for future use, it says.
