Well, it looks like Google, in it’s never ending quest to archive everything is taking another step into people’s privacy.  This time they’re starting an addition to their maps feature.  Street level pictures of the areas as you would see them if you were riding down the street.

There are of course, problems with stuff like this.  For example they don’t seem to be bothering with little details like getting people’s permission to use their pictures on their map.  I don’t think the guy photographed picking his nose on a street corner would have given his permission, nor do I expect that the couple sunbathing in bikinis would like having been photographed without permission.

For a company whose motto is “Do no evil”, Google sure does like to push the limits of privacy and stuff that just plain isn’t right.
