A Look at buildium.com

When you first load this site it looks like they’re talking about a software package and in a way they are, but it’s not a download.  This program is a web based Online Property Management Software package.

Because it’s a web based solution it can be used from any computer and not just the one that you installed it on.  You don’t have to invest a lot in networking hardware in order to have several people working at the same time because all you need is an Internet connection.

Another thing is that you don’t need to deal with taking care of software upgrades, scheduling (and then actually doing) regular backups.  Also there’s no hidden fees because it’s a flat rate based on the number of units you have.  There’s all the usual things you’d expect in such a package, ability to generate a variety of reports, maintain ledgers and track just about every variable involved.
